Where nothing is harsh.
A small line of light devices, made to be used, and no claim we cannot stand behind.
Named for a place at the edge of the world.
In the Odyssey, Proteus tells Menelaus he will not die in Argos. He will be sent instead to the Elysian fields, the plain at the world's edge, where there is no snow, no storm, no rain. Only light, and the west wind off the ocean.
Elysium is not defined by abundance. It is defined by the absence of harshness. That is the whole idea: ten minutes at the end of a day where nothing is severe.
Nothing here is a guess.
Helia, the mask the line is built around: 236 chips of which 164 are true laser diodes. 72 red at 665nm, 72 near-infrared at 850nm, 20 at 1064nm, plus 72 blue LEDs at 460nm, to the manufacturer's specification. 1064nm is the longest wavelength in any mask, LED or otherwise. Class 1 under IEC 60825 and photobiologically tested to IEC 62471, because a laser claim should come with a laser class behind it. In an independent 28-day instrumented study of 33 women, participants measured 28% fewer under-eye wrinkles and measured appearance changes; individual results vary.
Those are the kinds of numbers you will find on devices sold for hundreds more, and we publish ours with their conditions attached. Light therapy is a slow, ordinary habit. A few minutes every day, over weeks, for the look of firmer skin, a more even tone, and calmer-looking redness. These are cosmetic devices and we describe them as cosmetic devices. Helia carries real laser diodes and says so.
Sixty days to send anything back. One year of warranty behind it.
One idea.
It started as one box: nothing held back, nothing sold in halves. The line has grown, but only along that same rule.
Helia is the strongest light we make, and the center of the line: real laser diodes, in black or white, ten hands-free minutes. The Eye Set takes the area under the eyes. Each one is a few minutes, then it turns itself off and goes back on the shelf. Somewhere you'll see it.
