What is included

The Helia mask, a remote, a USB-C charging cable, a travel bag, and the manual.

The wavelengths

1064nm, laser. The reason Helia exists. A true laser wavelength, the one professional skin treatments are built on, reaching deeper than any LED. For the look of firmness and depth.

850nm, near-infrared laser. Invisible to the eye. Supports your skin's natural renewal. You feel the warmth rather than see the light.

665nm, red laser. The most-researched wavelength in the category, for the look of firmer skin and softer fine lines. In most masks this is an LED; here it is a laser diode.

460nm, blue LED. Runs as its own mode, paired with near-infrared. For clarity and the look of even, balanced skin.

The red mode runs 665, 850, and 1064nm together; the blue mode runs 460 and 850nm.

Specifications

Four wavelengths, 236 chips. 164 of them true laser diodes: 72 red at 665nm, 72 near-infrared at 850nm, and 20 at 1064nm, plus 72 blue LEDs at 460nm. The red mode runs 665 + 850 + 1064nm together; the blue mode runs 460 + 850nm. Per the manufacturer's specification.

A flat, flexible skin-safe silicone sheet. 640 × 220 × 5.8mm, 375g. With adjustable straps, in black or white. Model CS-002. Cordless: built-in 1800mAh battery, about 35 minutes per charge, USB-C.

Voice control starts, stops, and adjusts a session hands-free. Say "Hi Mask". And a remote is included as the primary control. Timed sessions of 5, 10, or 15 minutes, three brightness levels.

Laser Class 1 under IEC 60825-1. The lowest classification the standard has. And photobiologically tested to IEC 62471, where it sits in the Exempt Group, the lowest risk group. These are the manufacturer's independent test reports; the classifications are theirs.

What you can expect in 28 days.

28% Less visible under-eye wrinkles

The largest change measured. The count of visible wrinkles under the eye, down by more than a quarter.

18% Less visible cheek wrinkles

Wrinkle volume and area on the cheek fell about 10% alongside it.

11.1% More gloss

The instrument's measure of how much light skin reflects. What you'd call glow.

8% Less redness

Erythema content, by instrument. Calmer-looking, more even-toned skin. Pigmentation area fell 14%.

Which one are you?

"My last mask did nothing."

Most of them were LED, and none of them were measured. Helia is a different light source: 164 true laser diodes, up to 1064nm. And instead of promising, we publish the measurement: an independent 28-day instrumented study of 33 women recorded a 28% reduction in the visible appearance of under-eye wrinkles. Individual results vary, and the conditions are stated.

"It'll end up in a drawer."

That is the honest risk with every device in this category, so Helia is built to cost nothing in attention: put it on, say "Hi Mask", and the timer switches it off for you. Ten minutes, no app, no appointment. And if a month passes and it's sitting in that drawer, you're still inside the sixty-day return window.

"I'm over 45."

Then you are who we built it for. The look of firmer skin and softer fine lines is exactly what the red laser mode is for, and it is the mode most days are built on.

Nothing to learn, no app, no tiny buttons. Put it on, say "Hi Mask", and sit back for ten minutes.

You get sixty days to see it on your own face. And the return is free.

"I already use a retinoid."

Then you already do the hard part, and Helia is the easy one. Nothing to apply, nothing to sting, nothing to peel, no downtime.

It is light, not another active, so it never competes with what is already in your routine. Ten minutes on clean skin, then your retinoid and serums exactly as always.

You have put years into that routine. Helia was made to sit beside it, not replace it. If a prescription makes your skin sensitive to light, check with your doctor first.

"I have darker skin."

The published safety trials enrolled every skin type. We wrote up what they found: does red light work on darker skin?

"I love the clinic, not the schedule."

That is the exact gap Helia sits in. It runs the same 1064nm wavelength professional laser facials are built on, at home, on your schedule. $549 once, against $275 to $400 a session per published price guides. We compare cost and access, nothing else.

"Every brand says the same thing."

Then ignore the adjectives and check three things on any mask: what the light source actually is, whether the safety file exists, and whether any number comes with its conditions attached. Helia: laser diodes, Class 1 under IEC 60825-1 and Exempt under IEC 62471, and a 28-day instrumented study with its sample size and duration stated. Hold every brand to that.

The hardware

Behind Helia.

What is in the mask, stated plainly.

164 laser diodes

Red, near-infrared, and 1064nm. In most masks, all of this is LED.

Four wavelengths

665, 850, and 1064nm laser, plus a 460nm blue LED mode.

Voice and remote

Say "Hi Mask" or use the remote. No app, no cords.

Placeholder. Swap for the Helia straight-on render.
Deeper by design

The longer the wavelength, the deeper light reaches. 1064nm is the longest in any mask.

Tested, on paper

Laser Class 1. Eye safety, Exempt Group. Both reports on file.

Two colors

Flexible silicone that lies flat. In black or white.

The spectrum

Two modes. Four wavelengths.

One session is one word. Red is the mode most days are built on; blue is the change of pace. Every wavelength Helia carries runs in one of the two.

Helia held up with its red light on, seen from the inside.

Red: the laser mode

How to use it

Put it on. Say the word.

Every day, 5 to 15 minutes, whatever fits your schedule. No app to pair and nothing to hold. The remote does everything the voice does, for a room that is not quiet.

01

Put it on

Clean, dry skin. The silicone lies flat against the face and the straps adjust. 375 grams.

02

Say "Hi Mask"

That wakes it. Then plain phrases: turn on red light, set 10 minutes, brighter please. Or press the remote.

03

Carry on with your evening

Sessions run 5, 10 or 15 minutes and switch off on their own. Say "power off" to stop early. One charge covers about three sessions.

The real unit, filmed in a dark room and run by voice.

The laser facial wavelength, without the appointment.

1064nm is the wavelength in-office laser facials are built on. Published guides put those at $275 to $400 a session. And a course is usually three to six sessions, spaced weeks apart.

Helia is $549, once, and the sessions never run out.

  • $549, once. No per-session charge, no membership, no course of six to buy up front.
  • $1.50 a day across the first year. Every year after that costs nothing.
  • No booking, no travel, no appointment to miss, and nobody else has to see you do it.

Questions

Is this actually a laser?

Yes. 164 of Helia's 236 light chips are true laser diodes: 72 red at 665nm, 72 near-infrared at 850nm, and 20 at 1064nm. Only the 460nm blue mode is LED. That is also why it is held to a standard LED masks never face: laser safety classification under IEC 60825, where Helia is rated Class 1. The lowest classification the standard has.

What has actually been measured?

The manufacturer commissioned an independent instrumented evaluation of this mask: 33 women, ages 21 to 44, using it daily for 28 days, measured by instrument and assessed by a dermatologist.

At 28 days: the visible appearance of under-eye wrinkles down 28%, cheek wrinkles down 18%, skin gloss up 11.1%. Each a statistically significant change from day zero.

One study, one sample group, commissioned by the manufacturer. We state it because it exists, and almost nobody in this category has one. Individual results vary.

Is it safe for my eyes?

Helia has been photobiologically tested to IEC 62471. The eye-safety standard for light devices. Where it sits in the Exempt Group, the lowest risk classification: no photobiological hazard in any category the standard measures. Under IEC 60825, the laser-safety standard, it is Class 1, the lowest class. Those are the manufacturer's independent test reports, and they are the two documents almost nobody in this category can produce.

What does it feel like?

Gentle warmth. Near-infrared light arrives as warmth rather than color. Most of Helia's light you won't see at all: 1064nm and 850nm are invisible to the eye, which is the point. The deepest-reaching wavelengths are the ones that don't show.

How soon will I see anything?

Light therapy is cumulative, not immediate. Nothing about this works like a filter. It works like a habit.

Use it every day for 5 to 15 minutes, whatever fits your schedule, and give it a couple of months before you judge it. That is also why the session is short and hands-free: the version you keep doing beats the version you do perfectly for a fortnight.

How does the voice control work?

Say "Hi Mask" to wake it, then plain phrases do the rest. "turn on red light", "set 10 minutes", "brighter please", "power off". No app to pair. A small remote is included too and works as the primary control. Voice is the hands-free option, and like any voice device it hears best in a reasonably quiet room.

Where does it ship from, and how long does it take?
